As classic thermal conductive ceramic fillers, the products in the XSA series are characterised by their high spherical shape, high thermal conductivity, narrow particle size distribution, low viscosity and high filling density when mixed into silicones or epoxy resins.
The products of the XSA-M series are manufactured from the products of the XSA series by chemical surface treatment. These surface-modified alumina powders are characterised by their particularly low viscosity and high filling density when mixed into silicones or epoxy resins.
Products of the XSA-C series are refined products of the XSA series. Through a series of special processes such as calcination, purification and sieving, the spherical XSA-C aluminium oxide powders not only have an improved crystallinity of the α-phase, but also a reduced specific surface area, which leads to a higher thermal conductivity in the polymer material.
Alumina powder from the XA series is characterised by excellent chemical stability, high thermal conductivity and high wear resistance. It is frequently used as a thermally conductive filler, for the production of aluminium oxide ceramics and as an abrasive.
Submicron alumina powder (0.5μm/1.0μm/1.5μm ) has superior properties such as high stability, good crystallinity, uniform particle size and high dispersion. It has a wide range of applications in the fields of thermal interface materials, separators for lithium-ion batteries, polishing technology and thermal spray coating.
